What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is the art/science of enabling the body's own healing energies with the help of acupuncture needles. In a healthy body the energy moves freely along a continuous channel system, made up by the channels or meridians according to the ancient Chinese wisdom. Acupuncturists diagnose excess and/or deficiency signs of energy and place hair-thin small needles at strategic points on the body penetrating the surface shallowly. This simple act has most often amazingly far reaching positive results.
Treatment
Average treatment time is one hour. Although the idea of needles do discourage some, the treatments involve very little discomfort, way less than the discomfort patients endure from their complaints.
